Good Trouble:
New Songs for Social Justice
Saturday 9th October 2021, 10am – 4pm, Garden Room at St Peters on Willis, Wellington.
A workshop sharing the very latest in original songs written for community choirs by US song leaders. Drawing on a substantial body of new work responding to the Black Lives Matter and intersectional social justice movements, I’ve selected songs that need to be sung right here and right now: songs by African American writers; songs for justice and equity; songs that are easy to learn by ear and travel out into the world through voices and hearts.
Click through to Carol's website for more details and bookings for this one day workshop ($60).
[Note: Not a Gale Force Gospel Choir run event]

We acknowledge the financial support of a grant from Wellington City Council through the Creative Communities Local Funding Scheme which covered some costs associated with our 2021 'Futuna' and ‘Annual' concert series.
Choir members be there from 5pm, for rehearsal in the church at 5:30–6:30pm.

If driving, remember to park out on the main streets (such as Friend St), as there is no public parking available within the Futuna Close complex.
